Sick sick sick on a day I should have been on the top of my game. Lots of bigwigs from Dubai and Houston flew over for this 3 day workshop thingy. I was supposed to have participated in a brainstorming session on the way forward for our segment and instead yawned, burped and looked green all morning. There goes any chance of looking desirable (as in wah-tererlah-you-come-work-for-me! way) and getting transfered. Blasted food poisoning. I’m going home. Methinks it’s better to be absent than being there but end up puking all over my boss or worse, fainting and looking like a complete wuss.
